Scenes from the inspiring Global Closing Session of World Press Freedom Conference 2020, co-hosted by UNESCO and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Freedom of creative expression and the safety of journalists were primary topics.

I appreciated my invite and small feature with Christiane Amanpour and Humberto Tan (above). My participation was the indirect result of my National Geographic award for The DownNow Project, and a major catalyst for my 2022 Euro Grand Tour.
